was looking at the issue of exchange rate variability over time, but is not there yet. it seems I have to effectively over-ride every time I want to convert the foreign currency (ie every entry). However, while in Quicken I can over-ride the exchange rate that has been downloaded, and that over-ride will remain will remain until I change it again, in B. Both are limited in having a single active exchange rate for any currency pair (ie not dynamic with time in any way). On transfering foreign currency spending or receipts to a home currency account Bankability appears less capable (if only just) than Quicken. Banktivity will download my foreign currency account transactions, which Quicken will not
I had spotted a couple of posts elsewhere suggesting Banktivity was better. I am on a trial of Quicken and wanted to compare (using trial) to Banktivity, because of observed limitations on Quicken when using foreign currency, which is central to my needs. though functionality issues comes from Banktivity Chat Help.
